Assembling a Prototype Part 3

It’s starting to look like a telescope!

With all truss poles in place its possible to do some balancing.

I knew the plastic on plastic bearings would be pretty nice to use. Was really impressed by the smoothness and lack of backlash.

We needed a tripod. Since my love affair with ABS plastic is going so strong, why not use plumbing pipes made of the same material and design a tripod head to hold them together!
