Starfest 2025

Ten Telescopes was invited by the North York Amateur Astronomers (NYAA) to participate at Starfest 2025. In the morning Bryan Delodder told the Ten Telescopes origin story- how he survived a catastrophic accident on the road and as part of his journey started designing and building telescopes for the Ten Telescopes Astronomy Library and expanded into more high performance instruments over time.

In the afternoon Bryanand the Ten Telescopes volunteers hosted a telescope building workshop. The goal was an ambitious one- to have complete novices build, collimate and use six complete telescopes including hand built focusers and mounts, in just four hours! What followed was an intense, stressful and often hilarious build session!
