Symphony Under the Stars Guelph 2025

Yesterday we partnered with the Guelph Symphony Orchestra to host the 2nd Annual Symphony Under the Stars. It was an amazing success and many thanks to all the volunteers from all organizations and the 700+ people that attended!

We brought ten of our Skyward telescopes to the event and encouraged all in attendance to grab one and point it towards the heavens! The skies were not perfect last night and we did manage to glimpse the moon as well as binary star systems and star clusters. When the clouds were not cooperating we switched to our Guelph Telescope Games activities. We will set up targets that are too far away to discern with the naked eye and have the visitors (usually first time telescope users) race to see who can find a specific object on the targets. It is excellent practice for pointing and focusing a telescope with precision!

Our heartfelt thanks goes out to the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, the City of Guelph, and our very own Ten Telescopes volunteers.
