Music. Moonlight. Telescopes.
On August 5th, Ten Telescopes and the Guelph Symphony Orchestra are once again joining forces for one of our favourite events of the year: Symphony Under the Stars III at the Riverside Park Bandshell.
Over the past two years, hundreds of people have gathered under the summer sky to experience something truly unique. As the orchestra performs beneath the striking Riverside Park Bandshell, audiences settle onto blankets and lawn chairs, surrounded by telescopes, moonlight, and the sounds of live symphonic music.
And when the music pauses, the universe takes centre stage.
Throughout the evening, Ten Telescopes volunteers will be on hand with a collection of telescopes for the public to explore the night sky. Whether it's your first look through a telescope or your hundredth, there's something magical about sharing the Moon, planets, and deep sky objects with hundreds of fellow skywatchers.
This event is designed for everyone — families, music lovers, astronomy enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a memorable summer evening in Guelph.
